During our stay we organised with the teachers for the last school day a meeting with all the students. We have spoken with them about our project and about the will of teachers to improve the quality of the school.

Teachers asked us to explain them the importance of being serious students and the responsability each of them has toward the school, the community and themselves. Moreover we have told them that an increase in the monitoring and control of discipline, as decided by teachers for the next year and after the holiday summer break, is something valuable for the school and they have to receive it as a good and worthy improvement.

Rules for students, teachers, and locals have been prepared (read codes). Moreover, teachers have decided, pushed by us, to give colour to the classrooms, using the educational tools they have but that till now have been left inside furnitures. Not all classrooms are lockable and some windows need to be repaired. They fear to lose material. It will take time to achieve this aspect but they agree with us and they will start with the classrooms where they can. But to change things they have to begin to do something, and this can be a first step.
