FRIENDLY SCHOOL

Schools we consider Friendly, are those whose children knew our project and supported us. Tell to children what we have seen, what we want to do, and above all, describe to them how are schools in Nepal is very important, for them, but also for us.

Children understand and feel. No filters bar their sight. Reality is there and they get it how it is. Why nepali children have not what they naturally have inside their schools? The first time we have shown them our short-movie and our pictures we remained gaping looking how they opened their heart, mind and eyes in front of this reality. We think it is correct they grow with the awareness that what they find in their school, many children in the world...don't have!

Our idea is simple. We will propose to schools to support our project, showing to children which is their lucky.

Following we report our Friendly Schools:

1- Istituto Comprensivo "Cardinal Borromeo" - Scuola Media "G. Ungaretti"; Via Fara 32, Milano

2- Istituto Comprensivo "Iqbal Masih" - Via Iqbal Masih, 7 - 20096 Pioltello (MI). On 15 December 2007 at the School Christmas's party, we show to children our short-movie and some children belonging to the 2nd Class (C course) read some short scripts they wrote in front of parents, teachers and schoolmates. A successfull event! You can read them here! After, during the year, we have shared with children material regarding our school project and the nepali society. Children later collected an amount of money supporting us with a small but significative action. School supported us with 220 E. On 6 June 2008, lastly, we have finished our journey with them, showing the evolution of the works on the site of the school. They were happy as we were! Thanks!

3- Istituto Comprensivo "Francesco de Andrè"; Via Goldoni, 1 - 20068 Peschiera Borromeo (MI). We were able to show our project to the 2nd and 3rd Class (E course) of the lower secondary school in S. Bovio in the period October-December 2008. Students have seen with enthusiasm our video and the evolution of works in Nepal. They were really fascinated by it and still now they ask how works proceed in the school of Bhalaya danda! This is very good! Mission achieved!
